My career in data began at the source: data entry. My first role as a Data Entry Officer at Adams Smiths International in 2012 taught me a foundational truth that has guided my entire career: the power of any analysis rests on the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the data itself.
This principle became my compass when I joined the Federal Medical Center, Abuja, as a Medical Health Records & Data Management Officer. In this vital role, I was responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting health data to support critical business and clinical decisions. It was here that I saw firsthand how data isn’t just numbers-it’s a tool for public health awareness, improved patient strategies, and ultimately, saving lives.
